Since January 2010 the infrared - link is a built in feature of the frottinos (both, the standard and the alpha-2 do have it). With this link, it's possible to transfer the measured data into the modem.

On the modem, the measured data becomes visible and at second transfer form the frottino, the modem itself starts to send the data as E-mail to the backoffice.

With the PC in the office, these E-Mails are collected and appended to a single text file.

Since the modem is connected to the mobile telefon network, the office may be anywhere in the world.

hint of application for the frottino standard :

in a chain of different restaurants at different places, all the frottinos transmit their data to a single control office.



hint of application for the frottino alpha_2 :

elegant way of matching the HACCP requirements without having to write down the measured results every day. ( the frottino alpha_2 may store up to 4 different fryer results, befor transmitting them to the modem!)
